Hi there! I'm Mariana, the founder of ORN.
This brand is incredibly personal; it's a tribute to my father, my greatest inspiration. ORN, meaning "eagle," was his favorite animal, symbolizing the strength and resilience I so admired in him. With over 15 years of experience designing and manufacturing women's clothing—including work for department stores and private labels in Mexico—I know the industry inside and out. ORN began in 2019. I was playing a lot of tennis and struggling to find a tennis dress that I loved. Realizing I could create exactly what I wanted, I took the leap, and that's how it all began.
In 2022, I visited Calgary and fell in love with Canada. It's now my home, but ORN is still proudly manufactured in Mexico. This allows me to support local artisans and maintain the exceptional quality I demand. Giving back is also deeply important to me. Here in Canada, we're working with KidSport, and in Mexico, we support various charities and are honored to outfit the Mexican Paralympic Team. I'm so excited to share ORN with you here in Canada.
